Finally had enough energy while working on the farm the other day to go for a run around Warwick; and I have to admit I’ve been missing out! Ran down Rt 78 from the farm to Hochanam Rd, a nice hilly route perfect for warming up to a long run. From there I made my way north along Wendell Rd past Warwick State Forest and around Moores Pond.

Continuing on Wendell Rd, I made my way to Mount Grace State Park, the northern terminus of my planned run. Overall the entire length of Wendell Rd proved suitable for a nice running route, but then again I was running mid-morning on a weekday so a lack of traffic was to be expected. I look forward to getting to know the area better, especially Mt Grace State Park, in future runs. I decided to cut my run to a mere 10 miles since I still had lots of work to do and it was really hot out! But one last thing, look at what I found (BC hasn’t left me yet):
